Children should arrive at school by
8:15am. In the event of special
circumstances requiring their arrival before 8:00am, please advise the
office. Children must wait in the covered
play area until the 8:15am bell. All
school rules must be observed from the time children enter the grounds. Supervision in the playground is not provided
before the commencement of classes – consequently children may not use
playground equipment at this time. When
children have been asked to come early for a particular teacher-organised
activity, they will be supervised. You
will be notified of these occasions by a teacher’s note.
Late Slips: Children arriving after 8:30am are required to obtain a late slip from the Office before going to their classroom. If your child is frequently late, you will be contacted by the Principal and asked to provide a written explanation.
All children are required to proceed directly home once dismissed by their teacher after the 2:30pm bell. No supervision is provided after 2:30pm other than bus supervision unless teachers have organised a particular student activity. Parents/Caregivers are required to ensure that suitable arrangements are made for children to leave school immediately after being dismissed from classes at 2:30pm. Students who are not collected from school by 2:50pm are required to come to the office to wait when a further bell rings at that time. Children who continually arrive early or who are not collected in a reasonable amount of time after school will be asked to enroll at our Before/After School Care facility.
